House Maintenance approached Go Tech Solutions with a vision to simplify how homeowners and residents in Dubai book everyday maintenance services. From a leaking tap to a full home renovation, people needed a single, reliable mobile app where they could request a service, get an instant quotation, and track the job from booking to completion, without a single phone call.

The Challenge

Home maintenance in Dubai has traditionally relied on referrals, classified ads, or unverified handymen, leaving residents with no way to compare pricing, confirm provider credibility, or track the progress of a booked job. There was no centralized system to raise a request, receive a transparent quotation, choose a payment method, and follow the job status in real time. House Maintenance needed a mobile app that could bring every stage of this process, from service selection to final confirmation, into one seamless screen flow.

Our Solution

Go Tech Solutions designed and developed the House Maintenance mobile app, a guided booking ecosystem built around clarity and speed. The app opens with a personalized home dashboard, then walks each resident through a structured, step-by-step journey: choose a service, describe the issue, pick a date and time, select a payment method, and confirm the booking. Every stage was built with a clean, card-based mobile app interface so residents always know exactly where they are in the process and what happens next.

Home Dashboard & Service Selection

The mobile app opens with a personalized welcome for the resident, complete with their name and address, followed by a bold maintenance banner reading "Book Our services now." Below it, a "Choose a Service" grid presents eight categories with simple icons. A quotation summary card at the bottom shows the service officer assigned and live price, letting residents jump straight into tracking from the home screen.

Service Details, Issue Selection

Selecting a category such as Carpentry opens a guided Service Details form with a step progress bar at the top. Residents check off specific issues, like Door/Hinge Repair, Custom Shelf Installation, Furniture Assembly, Window Frame Fixing, Cabinet Repair, or Wooden Flooring Repair, each tagged with a transparent AED price range. Below the checklist, residents select which day they would like the provider to come, keeping pricing and scheduling on a single screen.

Service Details, Schedule & Instructions

The next step continues the same guided flow, prompting residents to choose an arrival time, add optional special instructions such as gate pass requirements, and upload a photo of the issue directly from their device. The running price total stays visible at the bottom of the screen, so residents always know the cost before tapping Next.

Payment Selection

The Payment screen presents two clear options, Cash on Delivery, with a note on cash handling charges, and Credit Card, which only charges the resident after the service is delivered. A progress indicator at the top confirms this is the third step in the booking journey, with the total price displayed clearly above the Next button.

Confirm Details

The final step before submission is a Confirm Details screen showing a unique Booking ID, the selected Service Type, the exact Date & Time window, an embedded map preview of the service address, and the chosen Payment Method. This single summary screen gives residents one last opportunity to review every detail before their request is sent to a provider.

Quotations Overview

The Quotations screen lists All Quotations the resident has received, including Plumbing, AC Repair, and Home Cleaning, each marked with an Active status badge, the request date, the assigned service officer, and a View Quotation link for full pricing breakdowns. This screen acts as a transparent pricing hub across every active request.

Bookings & Tracking

The Bookings screen organizes All Requests into All, Active, Pending, and Disputed tabs. Each booking card displays the service name, date, assigned service officer, a live status badge, and a unique Tracking ID, giving residents a single place to monitor every job from confirmation through completion.

Guided Service Details Form

Selecting a service opens a structured in-app form listing specific issues, such as Door/Hinge Repair, Custom Shelf Installation, or Wooden Flooring Repair, each with upfront pricing in AED, so residents know the estimated cost before they even confirm a date.

Flexible Scheduling

Residents pick exactly which day and what time they would like the service provider to arrive, giving them full control over how the job fits into their schedule.

Special Instructions & Image Upload

The app lets residents add optional special instructions, such as gate pass requirements, and attach a photo of the issue directly from their phone, helping service providers arrive fully prepared for the job.

Multiple Payment Options

Residents choose between Cash on Delivery and Credit Card, with credit card payments only charged after the service is delivered, building trust and removing payment friction from the booking flow.

Booking Confirmation Summary

Before finalizing, residents see a complete in-app confirmation screen with a unique booking ID, service type, scheduled date and time, address with map preview, and selected payment method, all in one final review step.

Live Quotations Dashboard

A dedicated Quotations screen lists every active request along with the assigned service officer and a direct View Quotation link, keeping pricing transparent at every stage.
